WELCOME TO

New Road Academy

Welcome to New Road Academy. Our secondary academy is built around our core values of ambition, respect and courage, ensuring all our students become self-reflective, independent individuals who grow with confidence and ambition. We are also proud to be part of the Learning Community Trust group of academies. Embracing diversity is central to who we are, by celebrating the unique backgrounds and experiences that each student brings to our vibrant academy community.

I am delighted to welcome you to New Road Academy.

I want a school where students are happy and achieve well above their potential, somewhere that they feel valued and important. I want to develop their awareness of their own health and wellbeing, physically and mentally.

Our students should be ambitious for themselves and others and feel that they can achieve their ambitions. We should develop students with a sense of pride in New Road Academy, who want to be involved in all aspects of academy life.
