Below are some of our local Further Education Providers that might interest you. We work closely with all of them to ensure our students make the right decisions for their next steps. We regularly have representatives from these providers into school to do drop in sessions, assemblies and events, but you can find out more information from them directly:

Apprenticeships
On an apprenticeship, you’re employed to do a real job while studying for a formal qualification
Usually one day a week at a college or training centre. In every role, apprentices follow an approved study programme, so you’ll gain a nationally recognised qualification at the end.
There are 4 different types of Apprenticeship with each taking a different amount of time to complete. After leaving New Road Academy, you will generally be aiming for a Level 2 or a Level 3 apprenticeship.
