New Road Academy actively encourages all students to take part in our extra-curricular timetable, which offers a wide range of after‑school opportunities including sports, performing arts, STEM and other specialist activities.
Enrichment helps students to develop confidence, creativity and teamwork while discovering new interests beyond the classroom. Attending these sessions allows students to build valuable skills, make new friends and fully engage with school life, supporting both personal growth and academic success.
To attend an after school club you must sign up using the My Child at School (MCAS) application. If you have not signed up, your child will not be able to attend the club.
All clubs run after school until 4.15pm unless otherwise stated – please note that choir runs until 4.30pm.
