The school day starts at 8.40am with form time.

Students should be in the academy by 8.40am. The main student gate closes at 8.40am, any students arriving after this time will need to use the ‘late’ door access, and will be classified as late. 

We expect:

• Students need to ensure they arrive prepared and on time
• If there is a situation outside the student’s control where they will be late, this needs to be reported to the academies attendance team

The day ends at 15.10pm, with intervention and clubs continuing after.

For those using buses to and from the academy, the Express 100 arrives at school at 8.28am, and leaves at 15.25pm, with a later bus at 16.15pm, opposite the Oakengates Leisure Centre.

The academy operates a 5-period day, with split breaks and lunches for key stage 3 and 4.
