Hannah is a mother of two boys with one on the cusp of going to secondary school, which has highlighted for her the important role that secondary schools play in young people’s lives. This prompted her to volunteer for the role of staff governor so she can be a part of making positive change for our students and our families.
Hannah currently holds responsibility for Curriculum and Enactment in English, and has worked at New Road since 2017. Her career has been diverse, starting as a PE teacher. Since this time, she has been fortunate to have experience with both pastoral and academic roles, and also leadership roles. As a member of the SLT she has experienced three Ofsted visits, including meetings with inspectors. In addition to teaching, she has been a member of support staff, including two years as a Data Manager within a secondary school.
Hannah is delighted to take on the role of staff governor and looks forward to working with her fellow governors.
