Mike has held various senior roles in a number of public and private sector organisations, including OFQUAL. His legal qualification and professional training helps him to assess complex corporate information and constructively challenge the status quo.
Having had three children, who passed their GCSEs and went onto college and university, Mike wanted to give back to the local community. He was a governor at New Road prior to the school joining the Learning Community Trust and feels being a school governor has helped to achieve this. He is keen to help students ‘look up’ and particularly enjoys supporting career focussed events, including mock interviews and group career conversations.
